Erica married her high school sweetheart in 1991. She and her husband, James, struggled with infertility for almost thirteen years until God's chosen path led them to the gift of adoption. Erica and her family reside in Florida, where they enjoy time spent outdoors, impromptu day trips, church and school activities, and finding the grace of God in all of it.

Shying away from oral book reports and public speaking of any kind as a child, Erica quickly developed a love for written expression, including poetry and inspirational writings. With a handful of devotionals published in Granola Bar and enLIVEn Devotionals, Erica's desire is to continue writing about everyday experiences that will encourage and point people to Jesus.
